With this privacy statement we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website as well as the use of our services.

2. Collection and Processing of Data
When you access our website, data is automatically transmitted by you and temporarily stored by our servers. This connection data is processed by our web server to enable access to our website. Our server automatically saves a log of the pages you have visited. The following data is temporarily stored:

  • Date, time and duration of your visit to our website
  • IP address assigned to you by your Internet provider
  • the selected subpages
  • the technical system (for example, browser or operating system) with which you accessed the site
  • the action carried out on our website
  • the search term used in the search engines and in the site search as well as the search result
  • whether the access was successful or not
  • retrieved information incl. downloads
  • the server from which you are coming and the website from which you accessed our website


3. Ticket Shop
In order to purchase a ticket via the ticket shop operated by New Work SE on our behalf, personal data of the participant is required. In addition to our participant conditions, the terms of use of New Work SE apply. New Work SE and we process this data in order to be able to provide you with tickets. Insofar as we process data as above, this is based on the consent declared with the registration (Art. 6 para. 1 a) General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR)), is necessary for the fulfilment of the concluded participant contract (Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR) or is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR). In addition, further voluntary information may be provided during registration, for which the aforementioned legal bases also apply.

4. Contact Forms
If you transmit data to us via a contact form (e.g. newsletter subscription, call for participation, press registration, visa request), your data from the contact form including the contact data provided by you there will be processed. Insofar as we process data as above, this is based on the consent declared with the registration (Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR), is necessary for the fulfilment of the concluded participant contract (Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR) or is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR). The data will not be passed on.

5. Newsletter
On the basis of § 7 para. 3 UWG (Unfair Competition Act) we are entitled to send you information about services similar to those you have received from us by e-mail. This applies in particular to future exhibition and conference events. You may object to the receipt of such information at any time (e.g. by e-mail at info[at]angacom.de). in addition, each newsletter contains information on how you can unsubscribe from the newsletter with effect for the future.
On our website we use the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp is a service through which the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. If you enter data to receive the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), these will then be stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. According to MailChimp’s own information, the company can also use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and display of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them and pass them on to third parties.
MailChimp is certified according to the "EU-US-Privacy-Shield". The "Privacy Shield" is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
Through the service MailChimp we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent to you via mailchimp, a file contained in the email (web beacon) connects to the MailChimp servers in the USA. This allows you to see whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked in it. Furthermore, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are only used for statistical analyses of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
The data will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can cancel your subscription at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters or by sending a message to info[at]angacom.de. The legality of the data processing processes already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

6. Cookies
We store so-called "cookies" in order to offer you an extensive range of functions and to make the use of our websites more convenient. "Cookies" are small files that are stored on your computer with the help of your Internet browser. 7. Disclosure of Data

8. Change of Purpose
Your personal data will only be processed for purposes other than those described if this is permitted by law or if you have consented to the changed purpose of the data processing. In the event of further processing for purposes other than those for which the data were originally collected, we will inform you of these other purposes prior to further processing and provide you with all other relevant information.

9. Deletion of your Data
We will delete or make anonymous your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which we have collected or used them in accordance with the above paragraphs. The data will be deleted unless such data is longer required for legal retention periods, criminal prosecution, or to secure, enforce or enforce legal claims.

13. Right to limit the Processing
You have the right to demand from us the restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR. This right exists in particular if the correctness of the personal data is disputed between the user and us, for the duration which the verification of the correctness requires, and in the event that the user demands limited processing instead of deletion in the case of an existing right to deletion; furthermore in the event that the data is no longer necessary for the purposes pursued by us, but the user requires it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, and if the successful exercise of an objection between us and the user is still disputed. 14. Right to Data Transferability

15. Right of Objection
Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) on grounds arising from their particular situation. We will no longer process the personal data after an objection, unless we can prove compelling reasons for the processing worthy of protection, which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. 17. Google Tag Manager
We use "Google Tag Manager" on our website, provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as: "Google"). The Google Tag Manager allows us to manage web page tags from a single interface. The tool Google Tag Manager, which implements the corresponding tags, is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data itself. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. 18. Google Web Fonts
For a uniform representation of fonts we use web fonts on our website. These are provided by Google. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web fonts into your browser cache so that texts and fonts are displayed correctly.
To do this, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. Google becomes aware that our website has been visited via your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts for the uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

19. Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your device, to help the website analyze how users use the site, the products they view and whether they purchase products from it. No personal data is collected here. The information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. 20. Vimeo
For the integration and display of video content, our website uses plugins from Vimeo. The provider of the video portal is Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When calling a page with an integrated Vimeo plugin, a connection to the servers of Vimeo is established. This will tell Vimeo which of our pages you have accessed. Vimeo will know your IP address even if you are not logged in to the video portal or do not have an account there. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to servers of the video portal in the USA.
Vimeo can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.

On our pages, functions of the Twitter service are integrated. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc, Twitter, Inc. 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transferred to Twitter.

The functions and content of the LinkedIn service offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland can be integrated into our online offer.
