ANGA COM 2017: Opening Discussion to be moderated by TV Anchor Claus Strunz

  • Claus Strunz (presenter at the German TV channel Sat.1) moderates the opening discussion

Cologne/Germany, 28 April 2017 | This year, the opening discussion of ANGA COM will be moderated by the famous TV journalist Claus Strunz. Currently and amongst others, Claus Strunz is presenter of the German TV magazine akte 20.17 that is broadcasted by Sat.1. He was editor-in-chief of the German tabloid newspaper “Bild am Sonntag” and deputy editor-in-chief of the German newspaper “Die Welt”. He became known to a wide television audience through his presentation of discussion programmes at the German TV channels N24, n-tv and Sat.1.

The opening discussion takes place under the headline “Gigabit, 4K and Over the Top: Broadband and Media under Disruption“ and is composed with especially high-level representatives of the broadband and media industry: Dr. Hannes Ametsreiter (CEO, Vodafone Germany), Niek Jan van Damme (Member of the Management Board, Deutsche Telekom), Anke Schäferkordt (CEO, Media Group RTL Deutschland), Carsten Schmidt (CEO, Sky Deutschland), Lutz Schüler (CEO, Unitymedia), Ronny Verhelst (CEO, Tele Columbus) and Christoph Vilanek (CEO, freenet).

In 2017, ANGA COM moves into new exhibition halls and the modern CongressCenter North. Another new feature is an open air plaza with food trucks. For the exhibition more than 455 exhibitors from 36 countries have registered by now. Due to numerous increases in booth size the stand space will grow noticeably compared to the previous year.

The visitor registration for exhibition and congress is available online at www.angacom.de. An admission ticket to the exhibition costs 22 Euros for three days upon prior online registration (ticket office on-site: 35 Euros), congress season tickets start at 100 Euros, on 1 June 2017 the exhibition and congress are completely free of charge upon prior online registration. All tickets for the complete congress programme of ANGA COM also grant access to the congress panels of the Medienforum NRW.
