Dr. Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA COM: “The booking situation is even better than expected. Numerous new acquisitions and increased booth spaces enabled us to more than compensate some merger- and market-related losses. Our concept of combining broadband and media mirrors the converging industry development obviously better than ever.”
The accompanying congress programme lists a total of 26 strategy and technology panels and takes place in cooperation with the media congress Medienforum NRW and 12 leading associations from the broadband and media sector. For the first time, Dr. Hannes Ametsreiter (CEO Vodafone Germany) and Anke Schäferkordt (Co-CEO RTL Group) will join the congress opening session.
International highlight of the second day will be the speech of Günther H. Oettinger, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society. He will present his view on broadband investments and connectivity in the Gigabit Society. The topics of the eight strategy and technology panels range from FTTH, G.fast and Smart Home to Internet of Things and Regulation. On 9 June the visit to exhibition and congress is completely free of charge upon prior online registration.
In addition to the regular congress panels and open to all visitors there will be again a practical forum in the Speakers‘ Corner: 31 companies will present new products, projects and solutions; altogether there will be 37 presentations.
